Nirupama Shankar, Program Officer of Nawada District Child Development Project, on Saturday inspected Anganwadi Center I of Siswa village of Nawada Sadar block, where she termed the preparation of food for children by making a dining hall in the toilet itself as a poison for health and said that strict action will be taken.
District Program Officer Nirupama Shankar has said that after reaching the center, the worker's husband was present with the children and the helper. The worker was missing. The most unfortunate thing is that cooking food in the toilet is like poison for health. Which cannot be tolerated at any cost. She has said that for such a big mistake, a recommendation for removal from service will be made against the worker and the helper.
He said that all the Anganwadi workers and the Child Development Project Officer have been instructed to prepare food for the children in a clean and hygienic place so that their health remains better. Child Development Project is a meaningful campaign centre for freeing children from malnutrition and it is important to maintain its quality. He said that such mistakes will not be tolerated at any cost. He warned that there should be a proper arrangement for providing food and breakfast to the children on time so that we can establish a malnutrition free society.
