Mumbai: Singer Diljit Dosanjhe has announced that he will not perform any live concerts in India. He said that he would not perform concerts in India until the infrastructure for live shows was improved. This announcement was made during the Chandigarh show on 14 December.
In the viral video of Diljit, he is seen saying that we do not have proper infrastructure for live shows. It is an important source of income and many people get employment on the basis of it.
In Diljit’s social media posts, he has been criticized for spelling Punjab not like Indians but like Pakistanis.
Diljit is now about to end his Dil-Luminati India Tour. A show will be organized in Mumbai on 19th December. The tour will conclude with a grand concert in Guwahati on 29 December.
