Saikia said, “Selling tickets and giving refunds is entirely the responsibility of the host state association, i.e. the state cricket board where the match was being held.” He clarified that since the match was being hosted by the local association, the method and timing of returning the money would be decided by them. The BCCI does not directly interfere in this, although the rules say that if even a single ball is not bowled, a refund is made.

So will we get the money back?

Yes, cricket lovers do not need to worry too much. Usually, when a match is canceled without a single ball being bowled, the spectators get a full refund of the ticket money (except some internet charges). The State Association will soon announce its process and date. You just need to keep track of the online platform from where you booked the ticket.
