Govinda had become superstitious
Pahlaj Nihalani had said in an interview that Govinda had become superstitious and because of this his career had sunk. He said that Govinda had become very superstitious and he had some logic for everything, due to which it became difficult to work with him. No day was auspicious for work, no color was inauspicious, due to this people even started talking about the future.
Govinda started making predictions
Govinda sometimes felt that the chandelier would fall on the set. Nihalani said that when Govinda was asking everyone to leave from there, he felt that the chandelier was going to fall on the set. Not only this, he also said about Kader Khan that he was going to drown. He also forced people to change their clothes due to superstition.
He chose certain days on which he would not work. According to Nihalani, he started trusting people too quickly and his attitude towards work became lax which led to the sinking of his career.
He used to do 5-6 films at a time
Govinda worked together in many films. He used to work in different shifts in a day. Nihalani said that he used to lie when he came late on the set. He used to sign all kinds of films for money. Nihalani said that he told Govinda that doing this could prove to be dangerous for his career and that is what happened.
Praising Govinda, Nihalani said that it was a good experience working with him. He described Govinda as a wonderful human being and a passionate family man.
