“Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan” from 15th to 26th November in Katihar.

Katihar, 14 November (HS). “Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyaan” launched by the Government of India aims to promote sustainable development in tribal areas. The campaign has been named in honor of the great hero of the country’s independence, tribal leader and great personality Lord Birsa Munda, whose vision was towards the empowerment of tribal communities and their social, economic and cultural development.

*Campaign organized in Katihar district*

Camp to create awareness about Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh, to provide information about various welfare schemes of the government and to cover the eligible beneficiaries deprived of the scheme with welfare schemes from 15th November to 26th November in the identified 82 Panchayats of 13 blocks of Katihar district. IEC campaign will be organized through.

*Main objectives of the campaign*

Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan by the Government of India, determined for the empowerment of the tribal community, provides roads to the tribes living in difficult areas, preservation of tribal culture, improvement in livelihood, promotion of quality education, clean drinking water, improvement in health services, residential This scheme has been launched by the Honorable Prime Minister on 2 October 2024 with the aim of providing basic facilities like schools and scholarships, vocational training programs for skill development, economic empowerment, telecommunication, electricity and housing.

– 17 The aim is to bridge the gap in health, education and livelihood and implement schemes for the development of the tribal community through 25 major programs supervised by the Ministry.

– To provide benefits to the Scheduled Tribe families deprived of the benefits of the desired schemes and to provide lease to the beneficiaries under the Scheduled Tribe and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 and other benefits like housing, electricity, communication, home stay, Hundred percent target has been set to benefit from Aadhaar, Ayushman Card, MNREGA Card, Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
