Jaipur, August 9 (HS). In the case of the death of a laborer due to explosion in the boiler of iron casting in a factory located in Reico of Kaladera police station area of Jaipur rural district on Thursday, the family members staged a sit-in protest at Chaumu turn. On receiving the information about the protest, senior officials from the district administration reached the spot. After the protest that continued for five hours, an agreement was reached between the family of the deceased and the administration. In this case, it was decided to give a contractual job to the wife of the deceased, a dairy booth, Rs 5 lakh under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Bima Yojana, Rs 10 lakh to the family of the deceased from Kaladera Reico Association. The cheque was handed over to the family at the subdivision office. Chaumu MLA Dr Shikha Meel Barala, former MLA Ramlal Sharma, Shahpura MLA Manish Yadav, Chaumu SDM Dilip Singh Rathore were present during the protest. SI Naresh Kanwar said that after the agreement was reached, the family ended the protest. The family has also cremated the body.
It is noteworthy that iron casting work was being done in the Kaladera factory on Thursday. During the work in the morning, the boiler in the factory exploded with a loud bang, which created panic in the factory. 18 people were injured in this accident. The injured were admitted to the Kaladera Government Hospital with the help of local people. 40-year-old Suresh Kumar, a resident of Hathnoda, who was injured in the accident, died during treatment.
