In order to take stock of the verification work of the deprived families by going to the ground level of the Zero Poverty Campaign in the district, on Tuesday DM Durga Shakti reached Majra Bedha Sotiya of Village Panchayat Jungle No. 11 of Nagpal Tehsil Sadar, Block Phulbehad, where she met five deprived, needy people. The family respectively reached the house of Dharmendra son of Ram Tapesh, Virendra son of Shivnath, Dhirendra son of Sudarshan, Kharpattu son of Buddha Ram and Hasnath son of Ram Awadh. DM Durga Shakti Nagpal reached the homes of five needy families one by one and took complete information about their families. During this time, know from the families who is present in their house. The DM was also told by the heads of these families that their household expenses are covered through wages. During the conversation the DM learned every aspect. After that the beneficiary family was also selected as the beneficiary of Zero Poverty Scheme. During the inspection, the DM took stock of every circumstance of the family. Like how is the condition of the house. What does the head of the family do for maintenance? It is being told that the problems of this family will be resolved soon. The family will get full benefits under the scheme.

DM Durga Shakti Nagpal said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started the Zero Poverty Scheme to improve the living standards of low-income and deprived families. Under this, 29,100 families of the district (25 families in each gram panchayat) will get benefits.

The DM said that the selection of the poorest families should be completed expeditiously by registered enumerators and all records should be entered correctly on the portal. Enumerators should visit the sites to identify the poorest households and upload photographs and other details directly from there. During the campaign, 25 most deprived and poor families will be identified from every Gram Panchayat. These identified families will be given the benefits of all those schemes, the benefits of which have not been received till now.

Let us tell you that under the campaign, Panchayat Assistant, BC Sakhi, Group Sakhi will identify 25-25 needy families by serving as nominator in all 1164 gram panchayats of the district.
