Dharamshala, 13 November (Hindustan Reporter). The Secretariat, which was deserted after the formation of the Congress government in the state about two years ago, seemed buzzing with the arrival of the Chief Minister on Wednesday. Chief Minister Sukhu finally reached Dharamshala on Wednesday and held a meeting with the officials in the Mini Secretariat built at a cost of crores in Dharamshala. During this, the Chief Minister discussed with the officials regarding various development projects of Kangra district including the expansion of Gaggal Airport and gave necessary guidelines to the officials. This was the first time after the formation of Sukhu government in the state that the Chief Minister has held a meeting with the officials in the state secretariat. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, who has been the target of the opposition since the opening of the deserted secretariat and the Chief Minister’s office in Dehra, has left the opposition without any issue by reaching here on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that during the press conference in Dharamshala yesterday itself, former Assembly Speaker and senior BJP leader and MLA Vipin Singh Parmar had raised questions on the Congress government ignoring Kangra and especially the Chief Minister or Minister not sitting in the secretariat built in Dharamshala. . He had also alleged that out of attachment to his wife, the Chief Minister opened the Chief Minister’s office in Dehra but in the other capital Dharamshala, no minister or Chief Minister has ever sat in the secretariat. Only after all these allegations, the Chief Minister reached Dharamshala on Wednesday and he first held a meeting with the officials in the Secretariat itself. Due to the Chief Minister’s visit, for the first time, a lot of excitement was seen in the Secretariat. Cleaning and other arrangements were also made in the dusty rooms. The glow was visible.
