Dhaj Utsav will be held for 7 days from September 12 at Unjha Umiya Mataji Temple, devotees will be able to have darshan till 10 pm | News India

Mehsana: In Unjha of Mehsana district, the Dhaja festival is going to start from September 12 to commemorate the appearance of Maa Umiya in 1868 in the Kuldevi temple of Kadva Patidar community. Due to which the time of darshan of Mataji has been changed.

Under this Dhaja Mahotsav, a Mehndi Mahotsav has been organized in the temple premises of Umiya Mataji tomorrow. In which Mehndi will be applied on the hands of sisters by saying 'Maa Umiya Dhaja Mahotsav' or 'My one flag on the peak of faith'. While Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate the Dhaja festival on September 11 at 8:30 am.

Due to the 7-day long Dhaja Utsav from 12th September to 18th September, the time of darshan in Mataji's temple has also been changed. Under this, Shringar Aarti will be held at 6 am. While Sandhya Aarti will be held at 7:30 pm and Shayan Aarti will be held at 9:45 pm. Since Shringar Aarti will be held at 6 am, devotees will be able to have darshan of Mataji till the time of Shayan Aarti.
