Devotees started arriving across Ganga to participate in Shivmahapuran Katha, officers inspected

Varanasi, 19 November (HS). The story of Shiva Mahapuran will start from Wednesday (20th November) in Reti located on the other side of Ganga. Devotees from far flung districts have started arriving from Tuesday evening to listen to the story at Sant Satua Baba Ashram complex located in Domri. Five lakh devotees will participate in this story. Storyteller Pradeep Mishra will narrate Shivmahapuran story from 20th to 26th November at Satua Baba Ashram.

Ashram’s Peethadhishwar Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das along with Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal and Commissioner Kaushalraj Sharma inspected the security arrangements. The officers also drew a blueprint for the safety of lakhs of devotees. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be involved in the story. The Divisional Commissioner also saw the helipad being built at the Ashram in view of the arrival of the Chief Minister. He instructed to complete all the arrangements before the arrival of the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can also join the story on November 22.

Cleanliness campaign was carried out from Ashram to Ganga Ghat, CRPF soldiers also participated.

The grand Shiva Katha will start from Wednesday in the Sant Satua Baba Ashram premises located in Domri. In this regard, a cleanliness campaign was conducted from the Ashram to the Ganga Ghat. In this, CRPF 95 battalion commandant Balapurkar participated along with soldiers and officers. While running the cleanliness campaign, Chairman of Srijan Social Development Trust, Anil Kumar Singh appealed to the shopkeepers and people not to spread filth. He said that Mother Ganga should be kept clean so that the pure Mother Ganga brings welfare to everyone.
