Devotees, saints and mahants from across the country gathered on the occasion of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Nischalananda Saraswati's appearance festival

Jaipur, 4 July (HS). The 82nd appearance festival of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati Maharaj of Govardhan Math was celebrated with great pomp as Rashtrotkarsh Diwas at Shipra Path VT Road Ground.

The festival started with the Kalash Yatra Rath Yatra. Kalash Yatra Rath Yatra was taken out from Ram Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple to Dharm Sabha Sthal. Rath Yatra was taken out on the lines of Puri. Hundreds of women participated in the Kalash Yatra in the same uniform. After the Kalash Yatra, the earthen Shivling was worshipped and anointed. A collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation was organized at the Dharm Sabha Sthal. Siddha Hanuman Chalisa along with Bageshwar Dham Balaji picture was presented to all the devotees. Minister Kirori Lal Meena participated in the Dharm Sabha and worshipped the footwear of Guru Maharaj. Blessings, bhajans, satsangs and discourses were organized from the mouth of Jagadguru. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Maharaj called upon everyone to stand up for the promotion of Sanatan Dharma in his blessings. He said that the followers of Sanatan Dharma have to remember their forgotten glory and make India the world leader.
