Mirzapur, 05 October (Hindustan Reporter). “Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Chandraghanta Rupen Sansthita Namastesyai, Namastesyai, Namastesyai Namo Namah”. On Saturday, the third day of Shardiya Navratri, a large number of devotees reached Vindhyachal Dham for darshan and worship of Maa Vindhyavasini. Devotees worshiped the Chandraghanta form of Vindhyavasini with proper rituals.

After bathing in the Ganga ghats, the devotees queued up at the entrance of the sanctum sanctorum to have the darshan of the Mother Goddess. With devotion, he bowed his head while praising Mother Vindhyavasini. Vidhyadham echoed with the cheers of Mother Vindhyavasini. On the third day, Adi Shakti Maa Vidhyavasini Devi was adorned and worshiped with hibiscus, lotus and rose flowers. After the morning Mangala Aarti, the sequence of darshan and worship started. The entire Dham resonated with the sound of bells, gongs, conch shells, drums and Shehnai. Vindhyadham was filled with devotees coming from every corner of the country.

The devotees are reciting Shakti on the roof of the temple as per the rituals. During this time, there is a huge crowd of devotees on the roof of the temple.

On the other hand, the visitors are also performing the Mundan Sanskar of their children. Amidst the sound of Shehnai and women's songs, the shaving of children was being witnessed.

After seeing and worshiping Maa Vindhyavasini, the devotees circumambulated the triangle and became partakers of the virtue. The devotees were delighted to see the grand form of Mahakali situated at Kalikhoh. The sequence of darshan and worship continued continuously in the court of Mother Ashtabhuji Devi seated on the mountain. The devotees standing in a queue outside the temple were moving towards the temple chanting praises of the Mother Goddess.

Made a house on the mountain, made wishes

During Navratri, there is a tradition of undertaking Trikon Yatra after having darshan of Maa Vindhyavasini, Maa Kali and Maa Ashtabhuja. During Trikon Yatra, devotees build houses with stones on the way from Kalikhoh to Ashtabhuja. It is believed that during the triangle, the wish of the people who build houses with stones to build their own house is definitely fulfilled by Mother Vindhyavasini.
