Varanasi, 01 August (HS). On the second Thursday of Shravan month, the second Jalvihaar Shringar of Devguru Bhagwan Brihaspati was performed at Dashaswamedh. On this occasion, a grand tableau of Devguru was decorated. After Bhog and Aarti, the doors of the temple were opened for the general public. A huge crowd gathered in the court for Darshan Poojan. People wore yellow clothes and worshipped Devguru. Before this, under the supervision of the temple priest Ajay Giri, the idol of Devguru was given Panchamrit bath in the morning. 11 Brahmins duly decorated Baba amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras.
After this, Baba was made to sit on the cradle with a golden mask and umbrella and a silver ashtadhatu. From the main gate of the temple to the circumambulation place and the sanctum sanctorum, the entire courtyard was decorated with Ashoka and Kamini leaves, cotton, thermocol, colourful clothes and electric lights. A Bhajan Sandhya has also been organized from 7 pm to midnight. Mangala Aarti was conducted by Ajay Giri at 4 am in the temple. Santosh Giri performed Rudrabhishek along with Bhor Aarti. Baba's sleep will be completed at 1 am. Abhishek Giri and Akshay Giri distributed Prasad in the temple.
