Ramgarh, 7 December (Hindustan Reporter). Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Department, Ajay Tamta, took stock of the development works in Ramgarh on Saturday. Also instructed the officials to do better development work in the fields of health, education and nutrition.
The Minister held a meeting with district and block level officials under the Aspirational District and Aspirational Block Program in the Parliament of Ramgarh. During this he reviewed the work being done in Ramgarh district. The Minister of State was informed that according to the ranking released every month under the Aspirational District Program for the month of August, Ramgarh district has got 75th position out of 112 districts. Also, under the Aspirational Block Programme, Ramgarh district has got 50th position out of 500 in the ranking for the month of June. While reviewing the index-wise works, the Minister of State gave instructions to Civil Surgeon, District Social Welfare Officer, District Education Officer, District Education Superintendent, Project Director Atma and other officers.
Pregnant women should get nutritious food
Reviewing the work being done in the field of health, Minister of State Ajay Tamta directed to make pregnant women in rural areas aware about their nutrition through Anganwadi workers etc. He also gave necessary instructions while giving information about Sadar Hospital, Community Health Centers and other health centres, Special New Born Care Unit etc. On the occasion, he instructed people in rural areas to make them aware about early identification of any disease and its treatment. Along with this, he also gave important instructions while taking information about the making of cards under Ayushman Bharat Scheme and the benefits being received through the scheme.
Information about schemes reached farmers
During the meeting, the Minister of State gave necessary instructions regarding information about schemes run in the field of agriculture, soil health card distribution, Krishi Vigyan Kendra etc. Along with this, while reviewing the work done in the field of education, he took information about the Anganwadi centers operating in the district, distribution of nutritional materials among pregnant women, teachers available in schools, basic facilities in schools, various coaching projects for children, etc. Gave instructions.
Give benefits of insurance scheme to common citizens
In the meeting, the Minister of State discussed about financial inclusion under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, various projects run under skill development, training being given to young men and women under skill development and their placement, Wi-Fi in Panchayat, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak. Taking information about the scheme, Pragya centers operated in Gram Panchayat etc., necessary instructions were given.
Minister of State visited Health and Wellness Center
The Minister of State inspected the NQAS Certified Health and Wellness Center Marangmarcha under Chitarpur block and took stock of the facilities available. He also gave instructions after taking information about the training in goat rearing, pig rearing etc. being given to 300 beneficiaries under the skill training project run by NITI Aayog at the RSETI Training Center in Murramkala, Ramgarh.
