Deputy Superintendent of Police flagged off the anti-drug rally | News India

Amethi, 03 September (HS). The 29th death anniversary of late Dr. Surendra Pratap Singh, founder of Gayatri Shaktipeeth Amethi, was celebrated as Sankalp Diwas. On this occasion, anti-addiction rally, tree plantation, Gayatri Mahayagya, tribute meeting and Dev Parivar Nirman seminar were organized.

An anti-drug rally was taken out on Tuesday morning in Gunnaur village under Musafirkhana, the birthplace of Dr. Surendra Pratap Singh, which was flagged off by Atul Kumar Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Musafirkhana Circle. Before the rally, the Deputy Superintendent of Police made all the students and people present there take a pledge not to consume drugs. The anti-drug rally started from Junior High School, Ganaur, and after going around the whole village via Mahadevan, ended at the home of the program organizer, Deepak Singh. In the anti-drug rally, hundreds of people, including workers of Gayatri Parivar, local police administration, dignitaries, students of junior high school and primary school, performed Jagran and toured the city and gave the message of a drug-free Gunnaur.

District coordinator Dr. Triveni Singh said that every year a program of havan pujan and tree plantation has been organized on the death anniversary of Dr. Surendra Pratap Singh. This year's program is being held in his birthplace Gunnaur and along with this, in the sequence of the effort of Rashtra Jagran 251 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya, Mera Gaon Devgaon is being started here to make Gunnaur a Devgaon.

District Youth Co-ordinator of Gayatri Parivar Amethi, Dr Praveen Singh 'Deepak' said that Pujya Pitaji took a pledge of eating tasteless food for two years and got the Gayatri Temple built with people's cooperation. Today is the day of celebration of his resolutions. Influenced by the thoughts of the most revered Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, Pujya Pitaji inspired people to give up addictions throughout his life. Today, on his 29th death anniversary, tribute was paid to him by planting a tree in his memory and a de-addiction campaign was launched. A pledge was taken to speed up creative and constructive works by laying the foundation of Gayatri Parivar's campaign Mera-Gaon Dev-Gaon in his birthplace Gunnaur.
