Guna, June 24 (HS). The Deputy Director of Agriculture Department has made serious allegations of kidnapping, threatening and demanding money against the brother-in-law of BJP MLA Priyanka Penchi from Chanchoda assembly seat of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. In this regard, he has demanded action by giving a complaint application to Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Sinha on Monday. Investigation has started in the case. At the same time, the MLA and her brother-in-law have accused the officer of conspiring against them by calling the allegations false.
Deputy Director of Agriculture Department Ashok Upadhyay has given a complaint application to Superintendent of Police Sinha, in which he said that on June 19, he received a call from Anirudh Meena, brother-in-law of Chanchoda MLA Priyanka Penchi, but could not talk. Later the Agriculture Officer made a return call. Anirudh Meena told him that MLA Madam has called you to Penchi office on June 20. Come at 10 am. I said yes to this. Since I had duty in School Chalo Abhiyan on June 20, I went to Vishanwada (Bamori). Anirudh Meena called at 10:12 am. Asked- Why haven't you come yet? Madam is waiting. I told that I am currently on duty for School Chalo Abhiyan. I will come on June 21 at 11 am. I told Anirudh Meena at 10 am on June 21 that I have left Guna. I will reach by 11 am.
He said that the next day after Anirudh Meena's call, on June 21, at 11 am, he reached the MLA's office in Panchi. Here, the MLA's brother-in-law Anirudh sought information regarding the availability of fertilizers. He was given the information. Since there was a meeting with the collector at 12 noon, he asked for permission to leave, but Anirudh did not let him go and made him sit in another room.
The Deputy Director said in the complaint that Anirudh closed the door of the room and took his mobile and kept it away. After this, abusing him, he said that whenever he is called here, he should immediately appear within an hour. He also said that what is a collector, SDM and Tehsildar come here every day.
The Deputy Director has written in the complaint that Anirudh said that you are earning a lot of money, send me 50 lakh rupees. If you do not give the money, I will get a question raised against you in the assembly. If you tell this to anyone, I will kill you. He also said that if Madam (MLA) was here, she would have been beaten up badly.
After the matter came to light, the MLA's brother-in-law Anirudh Meena posted a video on social media clarifying the matter, in which he called all the allegations false and cited a conversation with a businessman. He said, 'The matter has come to my notice. Nothing like this happened. The allegations are baseless. Farmers in Chanchauda area were facing a problem of fertilizer. They were not able to get fertilizer. That is why I spoke to the agriculture officer.
In this case, Chanchoda MLA Priyanka Penchi has called all the allegations of Deputy Agriculture Director Ashok Upadhyay false and said that it is a conspiracy. She said that the Deputy Director came here on June 21 and is complaining four days later. It is true that on June 21, he was called by my brother-in-law because fertilizer is not being sent to Chanchoda. We are public representatives and farmers are demanding fertilizer from us every day. In such a situation, the Agriculture Officer was called in front of the farmers to talk. During this, inquiries were made about the fertilizer.
