Jhajjar, May 9 (Hindustan Reporter) Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Arpit Jain inspected the security arrangements of the EVM strong room in Nehru College on Thursday. The machines that will be used to conduct voting in the district for the Lok Sabha elections are kept here. On the occasion of inspection, Jain instructed the concerned officials to completely restrict the movement of any outsider and unauthorized person in the strong room.
DCP Jain inspected the CCTV cameras and security guards and gave necessary instructions regarding security. After inspecting the arrangements for maintenance of EVMs in the strong room, he asked all the concerned officers present to ensure that all preparations related to security arrangements are completed well in time. There should not be any lapse in security. During this, he also took detailed information about the security from the guard deployed for the security of the strong room and gave detailed information to the employees about this sensitive duty. Also, the employees were instructed not to use mobile phones during this duty, to perform the duty carefully and cautiously and to remain deployed under the security of strong room 24 hours.
