Khunti, May 31 (HS). For the successful conduct of vote counting work, the training cell organized a training program for ROs and AROs at Layola Inter College on Friday. In this, all the employees and officials assisting at their tables including ROs and AROs of six assembly constituencies were given training.
Returning Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra took stock of the training program. He also informed that on the day of counting of votes on June 4, the postal ballot strong room will be opened at 6 am and the strong room located at Birsa College will be opened at 7 am. He informed that 30 tables will be set up for counting of postal votes. 20-20 tables will be arranged for counting of general votes in each assembly constituency. He laid special emphasis on maintaining the secrecy of counting of votes and said that vigilance will be very important in this. He directed to follow complete transparency in the announcement of the result.
Master trainers Pradeep Kumar Ojha, Vishnunand Tiwari, Devendra Gop and Shravan Barla gave the training under the supervision of senior officer of training cell and project director ITDA Alok Shikari Kachhap.
