Jammu, August 30 (HS). Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya conducted a surprise inspection of Tehsil Office and Government Health and Wellness Center Pargalwal. Additional District Development Commissioner Sher Singh accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the inspection tour. At the Tehsil Office, the Deputy Commissioner examined the Service Plus Portal and evaluated the compliance of the Public Service Guarantee Act, PSGA guidelines by the office. He reviewed the pending and resolved applications, interviewed the staff on routine matters and examined the record maintenance practices. The Deputy Commissioner also resolved several contentious local Revenue Department cases during his visit.
After inspecting the tehsil office, he visited the Health and Wellness Center Pargal. There he checked the attendance of the staff, took feedback from the patients and assessed the medical facilities and prescription practices. During the inspection at the Health and Wellness Center, it was found that five medical staff were found absent. As a result, the Deputy Commissioner has sought a written explanation from the concerned staff about their absence.
