Deputy Chief Minister Shukla met Governor Patel, invited to Diamond Jubilee celebration of Rewa Engineering College

Bhopal, 22 October (HS). Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla paid courtesy call on Governor Mangubhai Patel at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. Governor Patel was invited by Deputy Chief Minister Shukla to attend the diamond jubilee celebrations of Rewa Engineering College as the chief guest. It is noteworthy that Deputy Chief Minister Shukla is an alumnus of this college. Rewa Engineering College, one of the oldest and prestigious engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh, is celebrating Diamond Jubilee this year to commemorate 60 years of its establishment.

Established in 1964, Rewa Engineering College has played an important role in the development of technical education in the Vindhya region. The alumni of this college today hold key positions in various sectors of the country, including defense sector (Army, Air Force, Navy and DRDO), oil and gas sector (ONGC, IOC etc.), nuclear energy (BARC, NPCIL), power sector. Sectors (NTPC, NHPC), construction sector (BHEL, SAIL), and private sector establishments including government services (IAS, IPS, IRS, IES) are included. The main program of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will be held from 8 to 10 November 2024. The event will be a celebration of 60 years of rich journey and achievements of the college and will be attended by many alumni and dignitaries.
