Under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, a review meeting will be held on 28 January 2026 at 11 am at Yojana Bhawan, Lucknow, to review the work of the Rural Development Department, especially the State Rural Livelihood Mission. To provide more momentum to the all-round development of the rural areas of the state and the implementation of public welfare schemes. The primary objective of this meeting is to review the progress of the schemes on the ground and remove the obstacles.

Highlights of the meeting

Participation of 75 districts: All from Uttar Pradesh in the meeting Chief Development Officer (CDO) of 75 districts Will be physically present.

Self Help Groups (SHGs):Review of the goals of making rural women self-reliant and the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme.

Employment and Infrastructure: To ensure quality and timeliness of the works going on under Ji-Ram-Ji.

Housing Scheme: To provide timely benefits to the eligible beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).

Transparency: Strict instructions can be given under the policy of zero tolerance on any kind of laxity or corruption in development works.
