
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya announced the Central Contribution of ₹ 8.50 Lakh and State Share of ₹ 5.667 Lakh under the Women Farmers Empowerment Project by the Government of India for the financial year 2026-27. Total ₹14.167 lakh (fourteen lakh sixteen thousand seven hundred rupees only) Financial approval has been granted for expenditure of Rs.
Shri Maurya said that the state government is working towards economic empowerment of women under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi., Committed to rural development and overall upgradation of the agriculture sector. Effective implementation of various schemes is being ensured to make women farmers self-reliant and increase their income. Women Farmer Empowerment Project is also an important initiative in this direction., Which, along with making rural women economically strong, is also empowering them socially.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed the departmental officers that the sanctioned funds should be used transparently and effectively as per the prescribed standards and conditions set by the Finance Department, so that the benefits of the project can reach the targeted women farmers in a timely manner and the objective of women empowerment in rural areas can gain more momentum.
The Deputy Chief Minister has given strict instructions to the departmental officers and directed that:
- The sanctioned funds should be used only as per the conditions and standards set by the Finance Department.
- Complete transparency and honesty should be maintained in the implementation of the scheme.
- Hundred percent benefits of the project reach the targeted women farmers of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. in a timely manner Reached, so that the objectives of women empowerment in rural areas can be accelerated.
