During a special program organized at the Deputy Chief Minister's Office Complex, Kawardha on Friday, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma distributed battery operated motorized tricycles to 14 Divyangjans, tricycles to two Divyangjans, and a wheel chair to one Divyangjan.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, “The Vishnudev Sai government of the state is giving priority to inclusive development. We are constantly striving to make the lives of the disabled easy and empowered. Through this initiative, not only will their daily activities be facilitated, but they will also be able to participate more actively in social and economic activities.”
A large number of local public representatives and officials were present in the program. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister reiterated the government's commitment towards the disabled and gave information about the various schemes being run for them.
