Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will return home on September 19 after his US visit | News India

Raipur, 18 September (HS). Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw will return home on 19 September after completing his eight-day study tour of America. He will leave for India from San Francisco on 18 September at 09:05 am as per American time. He will reach New Delhi on 19 September at 2:45 pm as per Indian time. It is noteworthy that Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Saw and Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh are on a study tour of America since 10 September on the invitation of Asian Development Bank.

Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Arun Saw visited road and building construction projects in New York, Washington and San Francisco during his eight-day study tour to the US. He met construction experts and got information about planning, designing, construction materials, construction techniques and phased steps to be taken for large construction projects. He discussed with experts about the health and safety of construction personnel at work sites.

During his visit to construction sites in America, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saw discussed with the architects and engineers working there and gathered information about the material, metal and machinery used. He also discussed with construction experts about the use of modern techniques and machinery in advanced road projects and building construction in Chhattisgarh. Shri Saw said that for construction of high quality durable roads and buildings in Chhattisgarh, new techniques and measures prevalent in America will be studied in detail and their implementation in the Public Works Department will be considered. During his study tour, Shri Saw also met Indian communities and people of Chhattisgarh origin in New York, Washington and San Francisco.
