Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan for development works worth Rs 35.56 crore | News India

Raipur, 23 September (HS). Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in charge of Kanker district Arun Saw today on Monday performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 16 development works costing Rs 35 crore 56 lakh 68 thousand in Charama. These include Bhoomi Pujan of four construction works worth Rs 15 crore 84 lakh 40 thousand and inauguration of various construction works worth Rs 19 crore 72 lakh 28 thousand. Kanker MP Bhojraj Nag and MLAs Kirandev Singh, Vikram Dev Usendi and Asharam Netam also participated in the inauguration-Bhoomi Pujan program.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao inaugurated 12 works costing Rs 19 crore 72 lakh 28 thousand in villages Borgaon, Aamrabhath and Makdisingrai of Kanker development block and Bhuingaon, Telgara, Katagaon, Bhotha and Ratedih of Charama development block under Single Village Nal Jal Praday Yojana under Jal Jeevan Mission. He also unveiled the statue of Pandit Deendayay Upadhyay in Charama.

Addressing the inauguration-bhumi pujan program organized near the main road in Charaama, Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is carrying out sustainable development of all sections including farmers, soldiers and women by following the path shown by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the pioneer of integral humanism. These days, 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign is being run on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make cities clean and beautiful. He said that a provision of one crore rupees has been made by the Urban Administration Department for the development of Nagar Panchayat Charaama. The state government has no shortage of resources for development works.

Kanker Lok Sabha constituency MP Bhojraj Nag and Jagdalpur MLA Kirandev Singh also addressed the citizens. Former MP Mohan Mandavi, Charama Nagar Panchayat Chairman Pyarelal Devangan, Vice President Keshar Nagvanshi, former Chairman of Fisheries Development Board Bharat Matiara and local councilors, along with Collector Nilesh Mahadev Kshirsagar and District Panchayat CEO Sumit Agarwal were also present in the program.
