Bilaspur/Raipur, 1 August (HS). Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw today on Thursday attended the public problem resolution camp organized at Tarabahar in zone number-4 of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation.

He distributed renewed ration cards to about one and a half dozen women in the camp. He inspected all the stalls in the camp and enquired about the complaints received at each stall and the progress of their resolution. Saav also met the people who had come to the camp and discussed their problems and directed the officials to resolve them. MLA Sushant Shukla, Collector Avnish Sharan and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar were also present during this time.

Deputy Chief Minister, Urban Administration and Development and Bilaspur District In-charge Minister Arun Sao said in the camp that, through the camps organized in urban bodies, problems of immediate importance are being resolved on the spot as far as possible. Time limits are being set for problems that are of long-term nature.

Every application received in the camp will be resolved meaningfully. Problems of every ward are coming to light through the camp. All these will be resolved by making an action plan. Lack of funds will not be a hindrance for this. He said that the state government is making every possible effort to make our city clean and prosperous. Due to the ward visits of the officials of the urban bodies every morning, the construction work has accelerated, good cleanliness is also being done. The state government has decided to organize such camps on your demand. It is also getting good response.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has released the sixth installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana today. One thousand rupees have reached the accounts of each woman. He told the women that the employees have not even received their salary and you people have received the money promptly. The joy of Rakshabandhan has now doubled. There is no need to visit the office or recommend anyone to receive the Mahtari Vandan amount. In the first week of every month, the state government is depositing the money in the accounts of women without asking for it.

Bilaspur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar said that a total of 213 applications were received in the Tarbahar public problem resolution camp. These include seven applications related to cleanliness, 24 related to drinking water, 20 related to light, 28 for road and drain repair, 96 related to housing, three for building construction permission and renovation, 31 for ration card and four other applications.
