Dental surgeon dies after bike goes out of control and overturns

Palamu, 16 November (Hindustan Reporter). Dental surgeon Dr. Ujjwal Kumar Sharma died when a motorcycle went out of control and overturned near Tirwa Gharo bridge on the Tarhasi-Padma main road in the district. Dr. Ujjwal was returning from Ranchi to his home in Tarshi. Doctor Ujjwal was the only son of his family. They also have a two year old child. Got married three years ago.

According to the information, 32-year-old Dr. Ujjwal Kumar Sharma, son of Arun Sharma, director of Mata Dhaneshwari Hospital operated in Tarhasi, was returning home from Ranchi on Friday night. Before reaching home, due to the headlights of another vehicle coming from the opposite direction falling on his face near Tirwa Gharo bridge on the Tarshi-Padma main road, Dr. Ujjwal’s motorcycle went out of control in a pothole and overturned. In this incident, Doctor Ujjwal suffered serious injuries to his head and chest. For better treatment, he was admitted to the private hospital Narayana of Medininagar’s doctor Rahul Aggarwal, from where he was referred to Ranchi RIMS for treatment. He died on the way to Ranchi at 4 am on Saturday.

Post mortem of the dead body was done at MRMCH and then brought to the native village. After 1 o’clock in the afternoon, his body was cremated at the river ghat of the village. Son Utkarsh Sharma (2) has cremated. Dr. Ujjwal Kumar Sharma was a dental surgeon and his clinic was in Mata Dhaneshwari Hospital. Used to run the hospital along with his father.
