How does Qdenga vaccine work?
As soon as dengue virus enters the body, it starts destroying platelets rapidly. In such a situation, this vaccine works to strengthen the body’s immune system:

Formation of Antibodies: As soon as the vaccine is administered, the body’s immune system recognizes all four serotypes of dengue virus (DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3, DEN-4) and starts making special antibodies against them.

Reduction in severity: Even if a person is bitten by a mosquito after taking the vaccine, the antibodies immediately neutralize the virus. Due to this, serious conditions like ‘Dengue Shock Syndrome’ or internal bleeding do not arise in the patient and the possibility of hospitalization becomes negligible.
Why does dengue attack prove dangerous?
According to medical experts, dengue is not just a common fever. If you don’t get the right care at the right time, it can be life-threatening:

Drop in platelets and internal bleeding: In case of dengue hemorrhagic fever, the platelets of the patient suddenly fall very low, due to which internal bleeding and white fluid leakage starts from the internal organs of the body.
