The rapid spread of tiger mosquitoes is believed to be the result of climate change. Hot and humid climate is favorable for the growth of these mosquitoes. ECDC says that tiger mosquitoes have already made their presence in 13 countries of Europe and there is a danger of their further spread due to climate change.
