Saharsa, 15 December (Hindustan Reporter). Community Health Center Salkhua has 11 Panchayats. Salkhua is the only community health center in a remote area of this area with a population of about 2 lakhs. It is a very backward area from geographical point of view. There is a sanctioned post of 12 MBBS doctors in this community center Salkhua, against which only one MBBS doctor is working. Railway line passes in the middle of the road in all directions, due to which some incident or accident keeps happening every day. When people come to the community center Salkhua for treatment, AYUSH doctors are seen working there instead of MBBS. In case of emergency, patients are referred to Sadar Hospital Saharsa.
These days, there is a severe shortage of MBBS doctors in the Community Health Center Salkhua and the AYUSH doctor is being ordered by the senior officer to write the injury report, which is against the rules and highly condemnable. For the welfare of the people, it is absolutely necessary that an MBBS doctor be posted here as soon as possible and it is also very important for the Medical Officer in-charge to be posted here. Keeping in mind the problems of the community, District Secretary of Janata Mahadalit Sangh Saharsa, Ashok Ram, has demanded MBBS in Community Health Center Salkhua.
