Dausa, 6 August (HS). MP Murarilal Meena placed several demands before Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in Parliament. MP Meena said that Mehandipur Balaji, Shri Mahavirji and Kailadevi are major religious places in eastern Rajasthan. Lakhs of devotees come here for darshan throughout the year from states like Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc. In such a situation, devotees coming to Mehandipur Balaji have to travel to Balaji by vehicles after getting down at Bandikui Junction. The MP demanded from the Railway Minister that a new railway route should be built connecting Mehandipur Balaji, Shri Mahavirji and Kailadevi by connecting Bandikui Junction so that along with the devotees, the farmers and Scheduled Caste and Tribe population of the area can also get its benefit.
The MP said that a new railway line has been constructed from Dausa to Gangapur City. Currently, only one DEMU train runs on the said rail route. In such a situation, other trains should also be operated on the Dausa-Gangapur rail route so that the public can benefit and the railways can get revenue. Also, during Corona, the passenger train going from Jaipur to Alwar should be operated again so that people of rural areas can travel easily from small stations.
