Jammu, 2 November (Hindustan Reporter). Mission Statehood President Sunil Dimple led a protest rally of traders at Janipur High Court Road demanding immediate resumption of Darbar Move, restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and adherence to the terms of merger. Dimple called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to immediately address the demands of traders aggrieved by the end of the Darbar move.

Addressing the protesters, Dimple urged Omar Abdullah to pass a resolution in the Assembly for the withdrawal of the Darbar Move. He also called on the BJP government to fulfill its commitment to restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir and said the resolution passed by the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet should be implemented by the Central government.

Claiming that the suspension of Darbar Move is causing economic hardship, Dimple asserted that business in Jammu has collapsed and now the Labor Department is escalating the traders' struggle by imposing a weekly strike, which has already been lifted across India. . Expressing concern over the growing security issues in the region, Dimple addressed the recent increase in encounters in Kashmir in areas like Khanyar, Srinagar, Budgam, Bandipora and Anantnag. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to coordinate with the state government to address security concerns.

Meanwhile, Dimple also called for decisive action against Pakistan and urged the Prime Minister to liberate Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), Gilgit and Baltistan. He also demanded restoration of the Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) system, implementation of the terms of the Instrument of Accession and efforts to deal with rising unemployment and poverty in Jammu and Kashmir.
