Mirzapur, June 26 (HS). BJP District President Brij Bhushan Singh met Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh in Lucknow on Wednesday and handed over a memorandum to run AC buses from Vindhyavasini Dham to Maa Sharda Dham Maihar and Mirzapur-Vindhyachal to Charbagh Lucknow. He demanded that buses be run on these routes so that passengers can get convenience.
District President Brij Bhushan Singh said that buses run from the district to Lucknow at night. Therefore, travelers have to travel overnight. This makes the journey troublesome. He demanded that a bus should run from Mirzapur to Lucknow between 4 to 5 in the morning and another bus between 4 to 5 in the evening. This will help people reach Lucknow in a journey of five to six hours. Two buses should be run from Mirzapur and similarly two buses should be run to return from Lucknow to Mirzapur.
In order to connect religious areas through roadways, buses should be run from Vindhyavasini Dham to Maa Sharda Maihar Dham at 5 am and 5 pm. This will be convenient for the visitors. The Transport Minister talked to the departmental officials to run buses on these routes. During this, BJP Backward Front District President Ramkumar Vishwakarma was also present.
