New Delhi: Lexus India has started deliveries of the fifth generation RX 500h F Sport Performance in the domestic market. The Lexus RX 500h was first showcased at the January 2023 Auto Expo in India. The new Lexus RX 500h F Sport Performance variant is priced at Rs 1.18 crore (ex-showroom).

The new generation RX 500h is completely different from its predecessor in terms of design and performance. This model comes with the tried and tested 2.4-litre inline 4-cylinder engine with Direct 4 hybrid electric system to generate 247 bhp.
It is mated to an electronically controlled variable transmission. This SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.9 seconds.

The RX500h F Sport Performance features Dynamic Rear Steering that adjusts steering to the rear wheels by up to four degrees with front-wheel steering. The interior of the RX 500h comes with Tajuma cockpit and leather upholstery. The model also features an axle from the motor for better efficiency and active sound control, which enhances the exhaust note.

The new Lexus RX 500h F Sport Performance sits on top of the RX 350h that is already on sale in the country. The model has four driving modes – Normal, Eco, Sport and Custom. It also has an electronically controlled brake system (ECB). This SUV comes with 21 inch aluminum alloy wheels.

The SUV also gets a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display with a panoramic sunroof with connected car technology via the Lexus India app. Along with this, it has safety features like radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure assist and 7 airbags.
