Delhi Metro will run on a single line between two stations on the Yellow Line, DMRC announced the timing | News India

New Delhi. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an advisory for metro passengers. Due to the construction work of Magenta Line, the metro will run on a single line. However, this situation will remain between some stations. Also, the timing of the metro running on a single line has also been revealed.

According to DMRC, the movement of trains between Samaypur Badli and Jahangirpuri on the Yellow Line will be on a single line only. This will start from today. From 10 pm till the end of the metro service, the metro will run on a single line only. At the same time, the metro will run from the beginning of the morning till 7 am. After that, the movement of the metro will be normal on the entire Yellow Line from 7 am to 10 am.

However, DMRC has not given any information as to how long the metro will run on a single line. People have been appealed to plan their journey as per the advisory.

Unlimited travel for Rs 200

Keeping in mind the tourists in Delhi, DMRC has taken an important step. Now you can travel unlimited in Delhi Metro. You can get this tourist card (Delhi Metro Tourist Card) made from any Delhi Metro station. After getting this card made, you can travel unlimited in the metro. Whenever you check out from the metro at any station, you will not have to pay a separate token or amount in the card. Please note that this card comes with a validity of one day or three days.

How much does a 'Tourist Card' cost?

You get two validity options in the Tourist Card (Tourist Smart Card). If you buy a card with one day validity, you will have to pay Rs 150. Whereas, for a card with three days validity, you will have to pay Rs 500. In this, Rs 50 is taken as a refundable security deposit.
