Operations on the Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Center Gurugram), the largest corridor of Delhi Metro, were affected for an hour on Monday morning. Due to this, passengers are facing difficulties in commuting during peak hours.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has not yet clarified the reason for the disruption in operations, but the matter of relief is that operations are affected only on a small section of the Yellow Line between Haiderpur Badli and Jahangirpuri.

Most passengers travel in Yellow Line Metro

Operations on the rest of the Yellow Line are normal. DMRC has informed the passengers by posting the message at 8:50 am and said that metro operations between Haiderpur Badli and Jahangirpuri are affected. Most passengers travel in the Yellow Line Metro. Because of this, the number of daily passengers in the Yellow Line Metro is around 18-20 lakh.

Because of this, there was the highest crowd of passengers in the Yellow Line Metro train. Many working professionals from Samaypur Badli and Jahangirpuri also travel to Gurugram by metro in the morning. He faced difficulties in the journey. DMRC has not clarified the reason for the affected operations even in its post.

Operations on Yellow Line remained affected yesterday also

Earlier, on Sunday morning also, metro operations on the Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli-Millennium City Gurugram) were affected for about an hour. After around 6:45 in the morning, the metro became normal on this corridor. During this period, metro was available at an interval of 10 minutes. Such services remained affected due to the repairs at the University Metro Station.
