Delhi: Had to learn about Gandhi from Attenborough's film: Modi

In an interview to a news TV channel, Modi claimed that Mahatma Gandhi was the country's greatest genius but the world did not know about him. Was it not the country's responsibility that Mahatma Gandhi got recognition on the world stage in the last 75 years? He said, “Mahatma Gandhi was the greatest soul in the world. Was it not our duty to tell the world about Mahatma Gandhi in the last 75 years? No one in the world knew the Mahatma. I am sorry, but I have to say that the world became curious to know Gandhi for the first time after the film 'Gandhi' was made.
