New Delhi: Controversy has come to light regarding the official bungalow of the Chief Minister of Delhi. PWD has sealed the Chief Minister's residence located at 6 Flag Staff Road, Delhi. The department has installed a double lock on the gate of the residence. Arvind Kejriwal had vacated this bungalow after resigning from the post of Chief Minister. After which Atishi, who recently became the Chief Minister, came to live in this bungalow. However, PWD officials also followed him and took out Atishi's belongings. Due to which a controversy has arisen regarding the Chief Minister's residence in Delhi.
Aam Aadmi Party alleges that the officials are not allotting the government bungalow located on Flagstaff Road to Chief Minister Atishi. This bungalow was vacated by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In which Atishi went to live. However, officials allege that their belongings were thrown out. AAP claims that at the behest of BJP the officials are refusing to allot this house to Atishi.
In a press conference, AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that BJP wants to capture the Delhi Chief Minister's residence. Wants to grab it. And that is why this house is not being allotted to Atishi. BJP is not able to win the Delhi Assembly elections, so now it wants to capture the bungalow of the Chief Minister of the state. Sanjay Singh showed the documents and said that this bungalow has been vacated by Arvind Kejriwal. Therefore legally this bungalow should now be allotted to Atishi.
On the other hand, both the PWD department and the General Administration Department have come face to face. The General Administration Department has issued notices to three PWD officials. In which one officer is the secretary of the former Chief Minister while two officers are associated with the Public Works Department. However, BJP is happy with this action of PWD. State President Virendra Sachdev said that finally Arvind Kejriwal's Sheesh Mahal has been sealed. Instead of handing over this bungalow to the concerned department, the Aam Aadmi Party leaders wanted to enter it directly. After all, what kind of secret is hidden in this bungalow? There are reports that Arvind Kejriwal had vacated the Chief Minister Bungalow, after which it was to be officially allotted to the new Chief Minister Atishi.
Although the authorities had not yet allotted her this bungalow, Atishi went straight to live in this bungalow. So later the officials reached there and took out Atishi's belongings, later the bungalow was sealed. At present there was a dispute going on regarding the Chief Minister of Delhi but now the dispute regarding the Chief Minister's residence has come to the fore. Chief Minister is considered a constitutional post. When he shifted to this bungalow, Atishi could have officially handed over the bungalow to him instead of taking out his belongings. However, instead of not doing so, the protesters are alleging that on the instructions of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, the officials threw out the firework items.
