Deepika Chikhalia is disappointed with all those people who are making Ramayana, according to her this should not be done. On this the actress said, “To be honest, I am disillusioned with those who are making Ramayana right now. Because I don't think Ramayana should be made now. Now people are ruining it by making it. I don't think people should do this.” Ramayana should be made every time, it wants to bring something new and wants to show something new in it, its angle and its story.”

Giving the example of the film 'Adipurush', Deepika said, “Just look at Kriti Sanon's role as Sita in Adipurush, the makers gave her a pink satin saree. Anything was done to give Saif Ali Khan a different look. It was creative. But think, by coming here and being creative, you are ruining the entire impact of Ramayana.”

Religious texts should not be tampered with

The actress further said, “Religious texts should not be tampered with. I don't think anyone should do this. It is better to keep it as it is. Apart from this, there are many other subjects on which films can be made.” There are many freedom fighters in the country on whom you can make films. There are many fighters who gave us independence, but what do people have to do with Ramayana?
