Hathras, 20 November (HS). Under the Road Safety Awareness Programme, the winners from all the government and aided colleges of the Higher Education Department of the district participated in the district level road safety competitions.
District level competitions were organized in Government College, Kursanda under the chairmanship of Principal and Nodal Officer Dr. Shashi Kapoor. Poster, quiz and speech competition was organized by competition program coordinator Dr. Krishna Kumari in-charge of Road Safety Club. Dr. Mahavir Singh Chhonkar, Principal PC Bagla Post Graduate College, Hathras and Ram Babu Dual Passenger Goods Transport Officer were present as guests in the program. 36 students from various colleges of the district participated in the competition. In this, the top first, second and third students were selected. The chief guest gave certificates and trophies to the winning students and wished them for their bright future.
In the program, Amrita Singh, Rameshwar Das Aggarwal Girls College, Hathras, Dr. Dev Saraswati College, Hathras, Dr. Mridula Gautam, Dr. Shailendra Singh Kushwaha, Dr. Govind Chawla, Rinki Aggarwal, Dr. Radha Sharma and Neeraj Upadhyay, Government College, Kursanda participated. Performed the role of judge. Deepak Malti Swaroop, Devesh Kumar, Khushi Varshney stood first, second and third in the poster competition, Himanshi Soni, Vishambar Singh Gola, Deepak Malti Swaroop stood first, second and third in the quiz competition and Sadhna Varshney, Ritu Rawat, Garima Parashar stood first and third respectively in the speech competition.
