New Delhi, May 29 (HS). The crypto currency market is witnessing a downward trend today. Out of the top 10 crypto currencies in terms of market cap, only 2 virtual currencies are trading in the green zone with a slight increase, while 7 cryptocurrencies including the world's largest crypto currency Bitcoin and the second largest crypto currency Ethereum are trading in the red zone with a decline. Apart from this, there has been no change in the price of one crypto currency today.
According to the information received from Coin Market Cap, an agency authorized to trade crypto currency in India, till 5 pm today, according to Indian time, Bitcoin was trading at a level of $ 67,934.01 i.e. Rs 56.64 lakh, with a decline of 0.98 percent. Similarly, the price of Ethereum also fell by 2.53 percent today to a level of $ 3,814.52.
Apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum, Tether was trading with a weakness of 0.01 percent, BNB 0.71 percent, USD Coin 0.01 percent, XRP 0.45 percent and Dogecoin 0.93 percent. Toncoin was trading with a gain of 1.24 percent and Cardano 0.37 percent. Apart from this, there has been no change in the price of Solana during the last 24 hours of trading.
According to the information received from Coin Market Cap, the global market cap of crypto currency has declined by 1.12 percent during the last 24 hours of trading. Currently, the global market cap of crypto currency has come down to 2.56 lakh crore dollars i.e. about 213.45 lakh crore rupees.
Along with the fall in the global market cap, there has also been a decline in the transactions of cryptocurrencies during the last 24 hours. During this period, a total of 9,157 crore dollars i.e. 7.63 lakh crore rupees worth of cryptocurrencies were transacted, which is 1.69 percent less than a day earlier. If we talk about the world's largest crypto currency bitcoin, along with the fall in price, the position of this virtual currency in the crypto currency market has also weakened by 0.05 percent during the last 24 hours of trading, due to which its market share has come down to 52.34 percent.
