Decline in imported edible oils

Mumbai: In Mumbai oilseed market today, singoil prices remained higher than Saurashtra, while cottonseed oil remained calm. Prices of imported edible oils remained low. New demand remained slow. In the world market today, palm oil futures in Malaysia were up 2 to 8 points in near delivery. However, prices of palm products there fell by two and a half to five dollars.

Meanwhile, domestic Saurashtra single oil prices rose to Rs 1475 and 15 kg to Rs 2355. While the price of Saurashtra cotton wash fell from Rs 915 to Rs 920. In the Mumbai spot market, the price of 10 kg single oil rose to Rs 1520. While cottonseed oil prices remained calm at Rs 970.

Meanwhile, imported palm oil prices in Mumbai were at Rs 913 against Rs 915. New trades were slow. Crude palm oil CPO Kandla prices were at Rs 862 against Rs 868. Mumbai soybean oil prices fell to Rs 920 and refined to Rs 975, while sunflower prices rose to Rs 920 and refined to Rs 970. Mustard mustard oil was trading calm. Mumbai Diwali spot prices are showing slow improvement today. Along with this, castor also showed marginal rise.

Castor seed futures prices ranged around Rs 5766 to Rs 5766 and high of Rs 5806 and low of Rs 5770 to Rs 5780. Meanwhile, the price of castor seed rose by Rs 50 per tonne in Mumbai shell market today. While soybean prices rose by Rs 1000 to Rs 1100 per tonne. However, sunflower seed prices were soft at Rs 500 per tonne. While other laps were calm.

The advance price of sunflower at Navi Mumbai port was Rs 950. It has been reported that the export of palm oil from Malaysia has declined by about 17 to 18 percent in 25 days. Today the revenue of mustard increased 2 lakh 75 thousand times in Rajasthan and 4 lakh 50 thousand times in the whole of India. The prices in Rajasthan were Rs 6050 to Rs 6075 per kg.
