Dotasara tweeted in this regard that the Supreme Court declaring electoral bonds unconstitutional is a very important and commendable decision to protect democracy. It is clear from the decision of the Supreme Court that electoral bonds are one of the biggest scams of the BJP government. Unaccounted political donations were taken by misuse of power, benefits were given to close industrialists in exchange for election donations, which is the biggest corruption of this government.

The right to information was violated by ending transparency under the guise of electoral bonds. Every citizen of the country should have the right to information about the funding received by political parties. We welcome this historic decision of the Supreme Court.
