Decision reserved on Azam Khan's bail in cleaning machine theft case | News India


Prayagraj, 02 September (HS). Allahabad High Court has reserved the decision on the bail of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and former minister Mohammad Azam Khan in the case of theft of cleaning machine of Nagar Palika.

This order was given by Justice Samit Gopal on Monday after the hearing on Azam Khan's bail plea was completed. In this case, Azam Khan is accused of getting his men to steal the road cleaning machine purchased by the Rampur Municipal Council. He is also accused of misusing his position.

After the change of government in the state, Rampur's social activist Waqar Ali Khan had lodged an FIR in Kotwali Rampur against Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam and five others in this case. Azam Khan and son Abdullah Azam's bail plea has been rejected by Rampur District Court. After that, this bail plea was filed on behalf of Azam Khan and son Abdullah Azam.
