Kanpur, 27 March (Hindustan Reporter). The MP/MLA court is likely to give its verdict on Thursday in the arson case registered against SP MLA Irfan Solanki. Regarding this, police officials brainstormed on security arrangements on Wednesday. Additional Police Commissioner Harish Chander said that there will be tight security arrangements around the court.
Nazir Fatima, a resident of Defense Colony, Jajmau, had filed a report against SP MLA Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki at Jajmau police station on November 8, 2022. It was said that on November 7, 2022, at 8 pm, his family had gone to his brother's wedding. Then Rizwan Solanki, Irfan Solanki and their associates set my house on fire. In the case, hearing is going on in the MP/MLA court against SP MLA Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki, who are lodged in Maharajganj jail, and on March 22, the court had ordered all the accused to appear. All the accused appeared in the court and there was a possibility that the verdict would be announced on the same day, but the court postponed the next date to March 28. Irfan's lawyer Kaleem Ahmed Siddiqui said that the cross-examination of the defense and prosecution has been completed and there is every possibility that the judge will give the verdict on Thursday. In the case of extortion case filed by Akil against the MLA, the next date is April 8.
There will be tight security in the court
