Kathua, August 12 (HS). GDC Marhain organized International Youth Day. The program was organized under the aegis of the Principal of the college, Professor Anupama Gupta.
In his address, he encouraged the students to promote global unity, integrity among the youth for sustainable development of the world. He also highlighted various burning issues of the society and motivated the students to voluntarily contribute to save the environment and take responsibility to make the public aware about these issues. A debate competition was organized on this occasion. Five students actively participated in the said events. Neha, Kanika and Yash Dev Singh secured first, second and third positions in the competition. All the winners and participants were given trophies and certificates.
