Death of a passenger traveling in Ratnagiri train

Jaunpur, 20 April (HS). A passenger traveling in 12165 Ratnagiri Express train going from Kurla to Gorakhpur under Mirganj police station died in the train due to ill health. The death has been confirmed by the doctors of PSC Durgaganj Bhadohi.

Siyaram Sharma 67, resident of Mishrauli village of Gagaha police station, Gorakhpur, was traveling in B-4 of Ratnagiri Superfast Express with his son Rinku Sharma. When the train left Prayagraj on Saturday morning, Siyaram Sharma's health suddenly deteriorated and his son Rinku Sharma informed the control. Control immediately informed RPF Janghai and GRP Janghai to immediately attend the train.

Janghai outpost incharge Ali Athar was doing weekly escort duty in the train. As the train reached Janghai Junction Railway Station, information was broadcast by Station Master Janghai to RPF GRP to reach the spot. GRP Janghai incharge Ali Athar reached the spot and after taking down the unconscious passenger from the train, informed the ambulance. When the ambulance arrived, RPF Constable Dinesh Dubey took the passenger to Primary Health Center Durgaganj for treatment, where the doctor declared him dead.

In this case, GRP Janghai in-charge Ali Athar said that the body was handed over to the relatives after filling the Panchayatnama. The family members did not want the post-mortem to be done. Family members told that he was ill for the last one month and was undergoing treatment in Mumbai.
