Ilya Golem, a resident of Belarus, suffered a heart attack at home on September 6. After this, his wife Anna did CPR, but it was of no use. Later he was taken to the hospital by helicopter, where doctors tried hard but could not save his life.
He used to eat seven times a day
Golem was famous for his lifestyle. He was famous for his 61-inch chest and 25-inch biceps. Golem ate seven times a day. He consumed 16,500 calories a day. This included 108 pieces of sushi and more than two kilograms of steak. Golem was known as a '340 pound beast' and a mutant. His height was 6 feet 1 inch.
The golem was brain dead
His wife Anna recalls Golem's hospital days. She said, “I stayed with him for two days and hoped that his heart would start beating again but I was shocked to hear what the doctor said. He gave me the terrible news that his brain was dead.”
The Golem could lift 600 pounds
Golem could often lift 600 pounds (272 kg) during bench press exercises. He could deadlift 700 pounds. The special thing is that he did not participate in any competition professionally but he was a very famous person on social media. He had more than 3 lakh Instagram followers.
