The Central Government had approved the increase in dearness allowance of government employees and it was increased by 3 percent. The Central Government has increased the dearness allowance from 50 percent to 53 percent. After the Central Government, now the State Governments are gradually increasing the dearness allowance. Haryana government has also increased the dearness allowance of government employees by 3 percent. Haryana's Naib Singh Saini government on Wednesday announced a three percent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of government employees and pensioners from July 1. This information was given in an order.
Employees of this state will get benefits
According to the order, dearness allowance and dearness relief payable to Haryana government employees and pensioners or family pensioners have been increased from 50 percent to 53 percent of the basic pay with effect from July 1, 2024. According to the order, the increased DA and DR will be given along with the salary and pension of October and the arrears of July to September will be given in December.
Chhattisgarh government had also announced DA increase.
Before Diwali, Haryana government has given the good news of dearness allowance, but before this Chhattisgarh government had also announced dearness allowance to the state employees. CM has announced a four percent increase in the dearness allowance (DA) of employees. In such a situation, now the dearness allowance of state employees will increase to 50 percent, which till now was 46 percent.
Cabinet has approved
Diwali gifts for government employees were announced in the cabinet meeting held on 16 October. In the cabinet meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi, 3 percent increase in dearness allowance of central employees has been approved. After this increase, the dearness allowance (DA) received by central employees has increased from 50 percent to 53 percent of the basic salary.
