Mirzapur, March 09 (Hindustan Reporter) The body of an unidentified girl was found on the banks of river Ganga near Kevatvir Dhobiana settlement of Kachwan police station area on Saturday night. On receiving information about the dead body of a woman on the banks of river Ganga near Kevatavir village, senior police officers and police station Kachwan immediately reached the spot. With the help of local people the body was taken out of the water.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Nagar Ritesh Singh said that prima facie the age of the deceased appears to be 20 years old, she is wearing a pink shirt and black leggings. There is no visible injury mark on the body. Forensic team is present on the spot. Police are taking legal action by taking possession of the dead body and trying to identify it.
